Yesterday was the Obermeyer/Janssen wedding at the Catholic Church in Auburn. We had a lovely day - a bit on the hot and humid side, but overall it was perfect. They had a huge attendance at the wedding and reception and everyone seemed to be having a ton of fun! Thanks for having me....

Hicks - Part II

Wednesday I took part two of the Hick's family photos. Familiar territory .... trying to get three boys to sit still .... you can guess the rest - we still had a great time and got some fun images! Thanks Jennifer and David for letting me capture this moment in time for you and your boys!

3 wild & crazy boys!

I woke up this morning wondering what in the heck to get my mama for her birthday. What a better gift than a new photo of my three boys. She will be thrilled - and there is no other gift that would ever mean as much to her. (I hope you are not looking at my blog today mom - but if you do - SURPRISE!!)

Hayden, Brad, Owen & I headed to Legion Park right away this morning - I had the "talk" before we got there, you know, the "Behave, listen to mommy, cooperate and this will be done fast" talk....all went great for the ride there....and then.....they found FROGS, TOADS, WATER AND GENERAL PARK FUN!!!!!! UGGGHHH.....but in between lots of begging, some shouting, and a few big ol' sighs, here is what we got...

Happy Birthday Mom!! I love ya....

Rain, Rain Go Away

Not really, but it sure messed up my shoot with the Hicks family Friday afternoon. It stopped raining, but the soggy ground and mud was left behind! We chose to hit the studio first and we will finish up this shoot another day....check back to see the rest of the images...



And, as it is with all one year olds, here is what I saw the most of :) Mom was a great in helping to wrangle this little one!!

Some days are just perfect for taking pictures and today was one of those days. It was overcast, but not dark, it was breezy, but not windy, it sprinkled, but didn't rain....perfection!
